To the glory of God, West Africa’s foremost University, Covenant, has maintained her reputation as the private tertiary institution with the best offer in terms of Quality Education in Nigeria.
Covenant achieved the feat by sustaining her 201-300 ranking in Quality Education in the recently released 2020 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings. The THE Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Also, Covenant was ranked 101-200 in SDG 1 of No Poverty; 101-200 in SDG 2 of Zero Hunger; and 401-600 in SDG 3 of Good Health and Well-Being; 201-300 in SDG 12 of Responsible Consumption and Production; 301+ in SDG 13 of Climate Action; and 201-300 in SDG 17 of Partnerships for the Goals amongst others.
Remarkably too, Covenant was the only private institution among the four Nigerian institutions in the 2020 THE Impact Rankings, which featured 766 universities from 85 countries. Others included the University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, and the Lagos State University.
Japan, with 63 institutions, was the most-represented nation in the rankings led once again by the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
